Roberto Pietracupa, CIM

Portfolio Manager, Director, Wealth Management

Roberto is a Director and Senior Wealth Advisor with ScotiaMcLeod. A graduate of McGill University with over 26 years of investment experience, Roberto brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and perspective to investing and portfolio management. He has been awarded the title of Member of ScotiaMcLeod's Prestigious Chairman & President's Councils since 1994. In 2015 Roberto attained his Chartered Investment Management (CIM) designation enhancing the teams' discretionary money management service. He is a registered Financial Security advisor helping clients with insurance solutions.

Roberto sits on the board of Directors of Share the Warmth & on the organizing committee for Hockey Helps The Homeless. 

David Stewart, CIM

Senior Wealth Advisor

Prior to joining ScotiaMcLeod in 2001, David worked with an investment firm specializing in corporate finance for small cap companies and catering to high net worth families. In addition to more than 25 years of experience in the finance industry, David has attained his Chartered Investment Management (CIM) designation and provides discretionary investment management to his clients as an Associate Portfolio Manager. On the team, David specializes in preferred shares and tax efficient flow-through shares.

David is active in the community with charities, having helped with various fundraising events for Share the Warmth, a local children’s charity.

Melanie Ireland, CFA

Investment Associate

Melanie joined the Pietracupa Group in 2014. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a Major in Finance from the John Molson School of Business and is a CFA charterholder. Prior to joining ScotiaMcLeod, Melanie worked in retail trading where she gained experience in both equity and options trading strategies. Melanie complements the team by maintaining the integrity of our model portfolio through diligent research, trading, portfolio rebalancing and investment advice.

Melanie enjoys giving back to multiple organizations including Hockey Helps the Homeless and JDRF.

Grace Carrubba

Administrative Associate

Grace joined the Pietracupa Group in January 2001 and brings over 25 years of industry experience to the team. She is responsible for client servicing and oversees all administrative issues. Grace streamlines the process for her team of advisors as they review client portfolios and maintains the team’s exceptional client servicing offer. She manages the client contact system, prepares investment proposals, tax reporting and monitors all client communications.

Grace volunteers in several charity organizations such as Hockey Helps the Homeless and JDRF.

Karla Burgos 

Administrative Support Assistant

Karla joined the Pietracupa Group in 2004. Her primary responsibility is to assure the highest level of client service and administration by maintaining the integrity of all client information. Her role as Assistant is to provide administrative support for client accounts which includes opening accounts, account transfers, managing client fund transfers, issuing cheques, direct deposits and promptly responding to client inquiries.

Karla volunteers at Share the Warmth and raises funds for JDRF.

Melissa Baronello

Administrative Associate

Melissa brings over seven years of experience in the financial service industry and has successfully obtained her Canadian Securities license. She is committed to delivering a superior client service experience. Her role includes account documentation, marketing initiatives and overall client service.

Melissa has been involved in fundraising efforts such as Pedal for Kids and JDRF.

 

Francesco Viviani, B.Comm, F.PI.

Senior Financial Planning Consultant, Scotia Capital Inc.

Francesco has extensive experience providing financial planning advice to clients with complex and sophisticated needs and goals. He draws on the expertise that he has developed over his 16 years in the financial sector. Francesco graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor Commerce degree and attained his Financial Planner's designation though the Institut québécois de planification financère.

Using a disciplined and analytical planning process, Francesco can work with you and your advisor to develop a highly customized and comprehensive financial plan. 

Jessica Langlois

Jessica Langlois brings over 10 years of banking experience across the retail, commercial, and wealth management platforms. In her role as a Senior Private Banker she delivers personalized, discrete banking, credit and financial counsel to select clients.

Ms. Langlois creates sophisticated banking packages and a full suite of personalized credit solutions for her clients and their families. She then draws on a team of internal and external experts who assist with investments, customized credit structures, commercial banking, and domestic and international trust products to create a uniquely personalized banking experience.

Negar provides guidance and tailored solutions to meet client's estate, trust and philanthropic needs. Clients benefit from customized strategies that align their investment, retirement, philanthropic and estate plans to help ensure financial well-being into the next generation. Negar was sworn in as a Notary in 2012 and has since been providing advice to clients with sophisticated needs.
